3. When choosing dishes and service-ware
- Use re-usable, washable dishes, or
- Use disposables made from
- renewable materials such as corn-based plastic, or
- paper plates and napkins made from recycled paper

4. Go as paperless as possible at events
- Ask your speakers if you can have a copy of their presentation and request that he/she does not bring printed copies.
- Post agenda on large signs instead of hand-outs.
- Communicate with attendees via email instead of printed materials.
5. Make sure there are recycling bins set up for the event for cans & bottles and paper.
- Talk to the building manager or event coordinator to make sure recycling is available.
6. Provide information for your guests about the environmentally practices at your event
7. Collect name tag holders to re-use at other events
8. Look for green certified hotels, when possible
