- creatively finding ways to make dorms more efficient

- attending orientation and biweekly GLP meetings
- participating in group activities, such as waste audits and Earth Day events
- reading updates during the week from the captains and coordinator
- responding to time-sensitive e-mails ASAP
- reporting weekly hours
- filling in a checklist report at the end of each two-week campaign period
- filling out final reports at the year’s end

Relational Benefits
The key to being a rep is communicating with fellow students, administrators and GLP leaders. A rep becomes the visible symbol of campus greening to many students and their relational communication skills determine the success of their efforts.
From the reps, the captains, coordinator and steering group gain:
- unique individuals to run the campaigns;
- campus-wide and local, dorm-based advice on campaign approaches;
- feedback for improving past and future campaigns;
- inspiration for program improvement and further development of the GLP vision.
