Results and Products
Lots of time and effort go into developing a student internship program (SIP). This section looks at what you and the sponsors can expect to get out of it.
To maximize the effect of your program, interns' findings must be properly documented to allow others to build on them. Here are a few words about how to do this.
By getting your interns' stories out to campus media and other dissemination vehicles, you can spread word of your program's work and possibly attract potential funders. Read more about in this section.
The results of the internship must be communicated to the the project sponsors. Presentations are a great way to do this because it allows the sponsors, interns and manager to interact in person about the findings. Opening these meetings up to other interested parties may spark new funding for SIP work. Here we provide some advice on how to make the most of your presentations.
