ENERGY MODELING

Energy modeling analysis allows in-depth comparative analysis of potential building systems and strategies in order to optimize energy performance. Modeling enables the team to make integrated design decisions based on a full understanding of cost and how systems interact.

Harvard projects that have used energy modeling have been able to design systems with significant energy cost savings over ASHRAE baselines.  Blackstone’s energy model created a design that will produce 45.2% regulated savings, while 90 Mount Auburn Street designed for 32.24% regulated savings.
